Our client Dave bought a new house in South County and was perplexed as what to do with the property. A lot of fallen Red Maples had made for a messy appearance and stumps crowded the lawn. His house needed a makeover and he called us to help. We undertook a multi-season, multi-phase project. We began with a roadmap that was going to start with the back, working our way to the front.
The first part of the plan to be implemented was grinding up all the stumps. After this was finished, we created a bed along the back border with colorful, shade-loving plants that exposed the beautiful rock wall as a backdrop. We accented the backdrop with a natural stone border. Our next phase is more plantings in the spring along the fence and a patio area. We are looking forward to it!
