855-RILAWNS is locally owned and operated out of North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Our crews consist of young, local, hardworking people, as well as guest workers from Latin America. All of our employees are fully vetted and background checked prior to employment, so you can rest assured that we hire only the highest quality applicants.

The business was opened in 2001 and we have been able to steadily grow because of our reputation for reliability, dedication to every customer, and precision in our work. Our History
It all started when the founder, Justin, was asked to cut his next door neighbor’s property with a push-type reel mower. Graduating from that to dragging a push mower to nearby houses, 855-RILAWNS was officially born in 2001 as A Cut Above Lawn Mowing Services. Justin was in his Sophomore year in high school and at this time, he didn’t even have a license, so had to rely on riding in his friend’s truck with a push mower in the back.
For the next couple summers we began adding to our service line and eventually decided that “Lawn Mowing Services” was no longer an appropriate name. In 2005, the name was changed to A Cut Above Lawn Care, LLC, and the company has been operating under this name until 2017 when we switched to 855-RILAWNS.
Since Justin’s younger years, the company has come a long way. We have grown from providing only lawn mowing services, to a whole array of services, specializing in our lawn renovation and fertilizing programs.
