Fall Cleanup Service
Our fall clean-up service is the process of removing all leaves, branches and other debris that have accumulated over the course of the summer season throughout your property and landscape beds and hauling it away from your property. Perennials are cut back and the grass will be cut. Most companies’ fall cleanups only include removing sticks & leaves! This service is a great way to prepare your lawn and property for the winter season.
As we approach the end of the growing season and prepare for winter, we need to reflect on the severity of disease each year and remember that most diseases survive winter within infected plant debris. Fungal material such as mycelium, spores, or specialized reproductive structures may persist in the soil, in fallen leaves, or in dead branches remaining on the plant. Therefore, as a professional lawn care company, we can try to minimize the amount of fungal material that survives winter by removing all debris prior to the first snowfall.
Service Options Include:
Early Visit (Optional): First visit will be a quick cleanup to remove the majority of the debris from your property (not including garden beds) towards the beginning of the season. Fall Cleanup: This visit will be a detailed cleanup to remove all sticks, leaves, and the majority of the acorns from the lawn and planting beds towards the end of the season.
Leaves can either be put in a designated area (woods, etc) at a discounted rate, or vacuumed and removed from the premises. We deliver your removed yard materials to Diversified Services in North Kingstown where they are composed and resold as organic soil. Fallen leaves provide the bulk ingredient and are composted (18 month cycle).
Scheduling Options:
Prior: 11/18 to the day before Thanksgiving
After: Day after Thanksgiving to 12/8
Late:12/8 to 12/22
Please note, it is possible for late cleanups to be pushed to spring in case of inclement weather.
You Rake ‘em, We Take ‘em
As an extension of our fall cleanup service, we offer you a leaf pile only removal service.
For this service, if you put your leaves within 10 feet of the curb, we will vacuum and haul them away for you. Cleanups in RI can be so easy with this service!
Due to the uncertainty of the scope of work and the small job size, this service is charged an an hourly rate for each man hour worked. There is a minimum visit charge regardless of the size of the pile.
