Spring Cleanup Service

Spring Clean Up

Our spring clean-up service is the process of removing all leaves, branches and other debris that have accumulated over the course of the winter season throughout your property and landscape beds and hauling away the debris from your property.

In Rhode Island, the winters are always different and an early spring is always on everyone’s wish list. The rapidly melting snows along with the cool, overcast, and wet weather bring special conditions that need immediate attention prior to the start of spring. Regardless of the amount of cleanup you did last fall, there is always more to do to get your lawn and landscape ready for the growing season.

Spring is a time of rebirth and reawakening from a long winter’s nap. Getting out into the fresh air of spring can do much to revitalize you as well as your plants. Give us a couple of hours of cleaning things up and you will be rewarded with a healthier and more vigorous landscape and it will also do wonders for you.

Fall Cleanup Service

Our fall clean-up service is the process of removing all leaves, branches and other debris that have accumulated over the course of the summer season throughout your property and landscape beds and hauling it away from your property. This service is a great way to prepare your lawn and property for the winter season.

As we approach the end of the growing season and prepare for winter, we need to reflect on the severity of disease each year and remember that most diseases survive winter within infected plant debris. Fungal material such as mycelium, spores, or specialized reproductive structures may persist in the soil, in fallen leaves, or in dead branches remaining on the plant. Therefore, as a professional lawn care company, we can try to minimize the amount of fungal material that survives winter by removing all debris prior to the first snowfall.

Service Options Include:

Cleanup Level A (ONE visit): Remove all sticks, leaves, and majority of acorns from the lawn and planting beds towards the end of the season.

Cleanup Level B (TWO visits): First visit will be a quick cleanup to remove the majority of the debris from your property (not including garden beds) towards the beginning of the season. Second visit will be a detailed cleanup to remove all sticks, leaves, and the majority of the acorns from the lawn and planting beds towards the end of the season.

Leaves can either be put in a designated area (woods, etc) at a discounted rate, or vacuumed and removed from the premises. We deliver your removed yard materials to Earthcare Organic Farm in Charlestown where they are composed and resold as organic soil. Fallen leaves provide the bulk ingredient and are composted (18 month cycle) with ingredients to include crushed seashells, seaweed, wood ash, mulch hay, vegetable scraps, and fish byproducts (from Point Judith). Farm animal and exotic manure are also in the mixture (from Roger Williams Park Zoo including elephant and camel waste).

After: Day after Thanksgiving to 12/8
Late:12/8 to 12/22

Please note, it is possible for late cleanups to be pushed to spring in case of inclement weather.
