Donation to South Kingstown Skate Park
A Cut Above was proud to donate $200 to the Old Mountain Field Skatepark. Recently a group of local skaters led by Evan Mansolillo decided to lobby the town of South Kingstown for bigger ramps and a better skatepark. They started by assembling a meeting with the Guild and when the town asked for the skaters to acquire funding, A Cut Above was happy to contribute to the more than $7000 dollars that were collected at a local fundraiser and contest.
At A Cut Above we strongly believe in helping the community, from lawn improvements, to building sustainable ecosystems, to organic use of materials all the way to community action and helping fund after school activities for our local community. Not only was A Cut Above proud to donate $200 to the foundation, but we also raffled a $250 gift certificate for our services and two prepaid $25 Visa cards for a total of $500.
Good luck to Evan and the local skateboarders!
